Track MOUNT RICHMOND FOREST PARK The North Bank of the Mount Richmond Forest Park provides access to this mountainous, mainly forest clad park with many marked routes and walking tracks. The tracks take you up forested ridges through regenerating kanuka/manuka forest, onto lowland mixed beech and podocarp forest, pure beech forest, sub-alpine tussock and shrublands with alpine plants and lichen on the rock faces. Many tracks reach onto open tops with spectacular views. These peaks are clearly visible from your vineyard accommodation and form a wonderful and tempting outlook. |
